Motorcycle Technician

Summary


About the Role:

As a Motorcycle Technician you will be primarily working in our workshop, maintaining and repairing scooters and motorcycles to a standard. This involves carrying out motorcycle inspections, repairs and services, new & used vehicle preparation and checking & carrying out all required work.

You’ll also need to make sure all necessary Visual Health Checks are completed, that paperwork is accurate and up to date. Analysis, diagnostics and road-testing vehicles are also a critical part of this role. You will be responsible for ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timeframes and that a level of quality is maintained.

About You:

Ideally you will have Main Dealer experience, however this is not essential as manufacturer training will be on-going for the successful candidate.

You will ideally possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) for this role. We would be happy to consider a current car/van technician looking to transition their skills to motorcycles.

You will need:

Observation of detail

Ability to solve problems

Able to function in a demanding setting at busy periods

A strong sense of time management

Computer proficiency

Proficient in communication and a cooperative member of the team

What you can expect from us:

A Salary of between £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.

28 days holidays per year (including bank holidays).

Your working week will be 6 days only.
